  Me

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University. My primary research interest lies in Econometrics, Macroeconomics and Finance.  My job market paper addresses cotrending rank selection issues in the presence of both stochastic and deterministic trends. This work will be particularly useful in analyzing the long-run relationship between multiple time series. In addition to the job market paper, my other papers include "A nonparametric lag selection for nonlinear additive autoregressive models,"with Mototsugu Shintani, "Self-selection models and endogeneity issues in accounting research,"with Paul Chaney and Debra Jeter, and "An asymmetric smooth transition GARCH model." Please click here for more info of my research.

My teaching interests include undergraduate and graduate classes in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, time series analysis, asset price dynamics, and mathematics for economists. Please click here for my teaching experience and specific courses I am able to teach.
